Indeed, the virtual reality porn videos currently available are scenes filmed in 360 degrees. By turning their heads, viewers can change their viewing angle at will. However, they can neither move around within the scene nor interact with it.
But CamasutraVR is about to change that, by digitizing actress Annika Albrite (who can be seen filming in the photo above) and her movements in a futuristic studio. Annika is about to become the star of a fully interactive VR porn.
The viewer will not only be present in the scene, but will also be able to interact with the porn star’s avatar. They will be able to touch it, see it react to contact, and have virtual sex with it, using connected sex toys.

At CamasutraVR, filming involves no fewer than 132 cameras, arranged in a cage-like structure. The shoot takes place in three stages.
First, the cameras capture a multitude of the actress’s body postures, scanning her from every angle in each pose.
Next, they record the details of her face and expressions, one facial muscle at a time. This process cannot capture the tongue or the inside of the mouth, which artists will recreate in 3D later. The cameras also scan the buttocks, breasts, and vulva in detail.
Finally, the third stage is motion capture. Wearing sensors, the actress acts out various pornographic scenes. Her body movements and facial expressions are captured and then reproduced as realistically as possible.
