Dorcel Expert G: test of a rabbit for the G-spot

on

A little late for Easter, we’re going to publish a review of a rabbit vibrator: the Dorcel Expert G.

It’s an “old-school” rabbit vibrator, with a rabbit-shaped clitoral attachment. But judging by its name, this sex toy is really touting its G-spot performance.

So, how does the Dorcel Expert G rabbit measure up? That’s what we’re going to find out in this review.

Buy it from Dorcel Store

Packaging

The box is made of cardboard, with a plastic layer inside, and the whole thing is disposable.

However, a fabric storage pouch is included.

The look of the Dorcel Expert G rabbit

The Expert G rabbit is fairly classic, without being flashy. Its handle is gold-coloured, and the body of the sex toy is black.

Like all rabbits, it has two arms: one for the vagina and one for the clitoris. The vaginal arm is slightly curved, while its clitoral arm is a rabbit.

At the base of the sex toy’s handle, you can read the words “Made in China”.

Texture and materials

Apart from the handle, which is made of rigid plastic, the entire surface of the sex toy is 100% silicone. This material is odourless, non-porous and body-safe.

The vibrator is hardly flexible, and unless you force it, the gap between the rabbit and the penetrating arm barely changes. Only the rabbit’s ears are soft.

Powering the Dorcel Expert G rabbit

The Expert G rabbit is rechargeable. Its charging cable plugs into a USB port and has a small jack plug connector. Its battery holds its charge quite well.

Controls and modes

The controls have the merit of being simple. In fact, there’s only one button. Press and hold it to turn the sex toy on or off, and press it briefly to move from one mode to the next.

However, although it’s simple, it’s not necessarily the most practical option. If you press the button one time too many and land on a mode you don’t like, you have to work your way through the entire sequence of the Expert G’s ten vibration modes before getting back to the one you started with.

The modes include:

  • First, three constant modes. The rather oddly designed thing is that it starts on the most powerful setting and eventually gets to the weakest. Whereas generally, when masturbating, you prefer to build things up gradually.
  • And then, seven fanciful modes.

But realistically, the most common way to use this thing will be to leave it on the first vibration mode (the strongest constant mode) and not touch the controls again. So what’s the point of having ten modes?

Using the Dorcel Expert G rabbit

The penetrating arm: really good

First things first: the vibrations from the rabbit’s penetrating arm are powerful.

You can even use it on the clitoris without penetration and reach orgasm easily.

Once inserted, the sex toy vibrates strongly against the G-spot, doing a wonderful job of stimulating it. Move it back and forth, and it’s easy to reach orgasm.

The rabbit: useless

Second things second: the clitoral rabbit is useless. You can barely feel its vibrations, which are much weaker and completely drowned out by those of the vaginal arm in the wash of sensations.

Admittedly, it’s generally positioned well in relation to the clitoris. At least it’s angled correctly, but it really doesn’t vibrate strongly enough. In short, its only effect is to get in the way of the clitoris, which you could stimulate with your fingers or another vibrator if it weren’t there.

Conclusion on the Dorcel Expert G rabbit

The good points:

  • Its vaginal arm is well designed to stimulate the G-spot, and vibrates strongly.
  • Its battery holds its charge well.

The bad points:

  • Its clitoral rabbit serves no purpose: it doesn’t vibrate strongly enough, so barely stimulates at all. It would be better off not being there.
  • The controls and the order of the vibration modes are not very practical.

Review score

Flexibilité du rabbit Dorcel Expert G
5 .6 / 10

Pros

  • Effectively stimulates the G-spot
  • Good battery

Cons

  • Vibrations too weak on the clit
  • Clunky controls

As its name promises, the Dorcel Expert G rabbit is very effective as a “G-spot” vibrator, thanks to its curved shape and powerful vaginal vibrations. But because the clitoral rabbit’s vibrations are too weak, it doesn’t work as a rabbit vibrator.

Personally, I’m very much on the fence, and although the verdict isn’t 100% negative, this is not a sex toy I would recommend.
