The Doxy Die Cast is preceded by its reputation. Its predecessor, the Doxy Massager, is one of the most powerful vibrators I’ve ever come across. And the Die Cast was promising even more! As for its successor, the Doxy Number 3, it seems to follow a worthy lineage of ultra-rugged vibrators.
The Die Cast features a metal handle, whose rigidity means you won’t lose a single vibration from the ones emitted by its head, which you apply against the clitoris with the aim of coming in no time at all.
I had to try it. And so I did. Here’s my test of the Doxy Die Cast.
Sextoy packaging
Doxy hasn’t skimped on the presentation! The packaging is a plain cardboard box, with no superfluous plastic, apart from a small pouch around the vibrator’s head.
And above all, the most important thing is there: a pouch!
This is quite rare among magic-wand-type vibrators: until now, only the Smart Wand by Lelo came with this really handy accessory. And yet, a case turns out to be always very useful for transport or storage, even for corded clitoral vibrators, if only so you don’t tangle the plug.
Doxy is a British brand. If the name of the thing intrigues you: no, they haven’t named their sextoy “die, the plaster!”. “Die casting” is a metal moulding technique. And “doxy” is a term from old English slang, which refers to a courtesan.
The Doxy Die Cast’s look
An unpainted metal handle and a black head: it’s a sober, minimalist look, pleasing to the eye. This sextoy has class.
As for dimensions, while the Number 3 is much more compact, the Die Cast doesn’t give a damn about miniaturisation.
Indeed, its handle measures no less than 24 centimetres long. Its head is 8 centimetres long, with a diameter of 6 cm. Its neck, for its part, measures about 3 cm. In short, it’s bulky, and roughly the same size as the original Doxy Massager.
Texture and materials
The Die Cast’s head is covered with a removable silicone cap, which is really handy for cleaning it. And it’s body-safe. Its body, for its part, is metal. It’s heavy, but stable and solid.
Without being totally rigid, its head is fairly firm, but its neck is flexible.
Doxy Die Cast power supply
On that front, nothing innovative: the Die Cast is corded. To achieve such power, it’s the only solution. In short: no aquatic orgasms with this sextoy, but that’s no big deal: that’s not what you expect from it. The Doxy Die Cast isn’t going to leave your bedside table.
But its cable is long, three metres, which still leaves quite a bit of room to move around in a room; it won’t be confined to the area around the plug.
Controls and modes
There aren’t really any “fancy” modes with this sextoy. Sure, there is a mode that alternates “on – off – on – off” at a regular frequency, but its presence is rather anecdotal, and I didn’t really linger over using it, as it doesn’t offer any real interest. What we’re interested in is the continuous vibrations.
Indeed, you can vary the vibration intensity to your heart’s content, with two “+” and “-” buttons. It starts quite strong, and it goes on much, much stronger still.
A third button, round, is used to turn the sextoy on and off, and to switch from constant mode to alternating mode, and vice versa.
Doxy Die Cast effectiveness
The Die Cast is more than up to the mark of its reputation. It’s by far the most powerful vibrator I’ve had the chance to use. It’s even more rugged than the Doxy Massager.
And for good reason: the vibrations don’t get lost in its handle. The other good thing about this very stable grip is that it spares you a fair few pins and needles in the fingers. Well, on the other hand, it’s properly heavy, and you start to feel its weight pressing in your hand if you use it for a long time.
But that’s not really a problem, as the vibrations are so powerful that the first orgasm arrives within a few seconds. And you can go again quite a few times in a row before getting bored of it.
Uses of the Doxy Die Cast
It’s a sextoy for slobs: it’s ideal for using in bed, plugged in near the bedside table, lying on your back, or with a partner, on all fours during a round of doggy style.
This is a use you can make of most ultra-powerful vibrators, but the Doxy Die Cast is particularly well-suited to it. Indeed, its large head spreads its vibrations across the entire surface of the vulva, and you don’t even need to be careful to aim correctly to stimulate the clitoris at full power.

Conclusion on the Doxy Die Cast
The good points:
- It’s ultra-mega-powerful! It delivers multiple express orgasms, and guaranteed.
- Its look is sober and classy.
- It seems solid.
- With its 3 metres, its power cable is long, and its controls are simple. In short: it’s practical.
The bad points:
- Its price is high: nearly 170 euros.

Review score
Pros
- Ultra-mega-powerful
- Fairly classy look
- Solid
- Practical
Cons
- High price
The Doxy Die Cast is an excellent corded clitoral vibrator, with a detonating power and practical to use. The only drawback is its price, which is rather high. But once it’s set up on your bedside table, it will bring you intense orgasms at will, and you won’t regret your purchase.
It’s a vibrator that’s perfectly suited to regular use. Indeed, it’s practical, orgasmic every single time, simple to use, and just as well-suited to a laid-back solo masturbation, comfortably settled under the duvet, as to a racy round of sex with two or more. This sextoy won’t be leaving the area around your bed.
