Le Fun Factory Be-One is a one-of-a-kind vibrator. This tiny sex toy acts as a sixth finger, adding vibrations to your caresses, whether you’re playing solo or with a partner.
The idea? Nothing complicated: simply slip the Be-One between two fingers, and it moves with you.
So, here’s our Fun Factory Be-One review.
Sex toy packaging
The packaging is a small, thin, disposable cardboard box.
However, for once, Fun Factory includes a storage case: a tiny box made of translucent plastic.
What the Fun Factory Be-One looks like
The Be-One is a tiny, curved black gadget, thinner than a finger. It’s not hideous, but it’s not exactly gorgeous either; it looks a bit like some sort of insect antenna. There’s a single red button on top, bearing the word “Fun” in capital letters.
It’s really not bulky at all: you can easily carry it in your pocket, even if you don’t have big pockets.
Texture and materials
The part of the sex toy that sits between your fingers is made of smooth, rigid ABS plastic. The part that comes into contact with your clit, on the other hand, is made of flexible silicone, an odourless, body-safe material.
Powering the Fun Factory Be-One
The Be-One is rechargeable. Its cable, called “Click & Charge”, is used with all Fun Factory sex toys. One end plugs into a USB port; the other attaches magnetically to two metal contacts on the vibrator.
This sex toy is waterproof.
Controls and modes
When it comes to the controls, the Fun Factory Be-One couldn’t be simpler. It has just one button, which lets you switch between four vibration intensity levels, followed by a random mode. That gives you enough choice without any risk of getting your wires crossed.
Using the Fun Factory Be-One
The Be-One can be held between your index and middle fingers, or between your middle and ring fingers. Your physical attributes don’t come into it: it works just as well for left- and right-handers, and the size of your fingers doesn’t matter. In short, it’s much better in that respect than the Jimmyjane Hello Touch, with its elastic bands that squeeze your fingertips, or even the Lovehoney Ignite vibrating ring, which you can’t wear on the same finger if you have large hands as you can if you have small ones. This sex toy fits all anatomies.
I was a little sceptical about how easy the thing would be to handle. But as it turns out, it’s very well designed. The sex toy sits firmly between two fingers, without causing discomfort or falling off, and it’s easy to manoeuvre. It’s a bit like suddenly finding yourself with a sixth finger—a little less flexible and a little smaller than the others, admittedly.
This extra “finger” is very slim, so the stimulation is very focused on the clitoris. As for power, the first intensity level starts fairly gently, but the fourth is powerful enough to give me orgasms without any effort.
As for the random mode, its variations are fairly subtle, with smooth transitions. If you like the element of surprise that comes with changes in intensity, you might enjoy it, but I didn’t find this mode particularly useful myself.
Conclusion on the Fun Factory Be-One
The good points:
- The Be-One is an innovative sex toy that does exactly what it claims to do. It’s comfortable to wear and very easy to manoeuvre, whatever the size of your hand.
- Its vibrations are pretty powerful.
- It’s tiny, so it’s easy to take with you wherever you go.
- The controls are simple.
The bad points:
- Its look might be a bit too off-putting. For a brand called “Fun”, this sex toy doesn’t look all that fun.
- The price: at nearly 70 euros, it costs twice as much as its competitor, the Lovehoney Ignite.
Review score
Pros
- Innovative, comfortable and very easy to handle
- Fairly powerful vibrations
- Very small
- Simple controls
Cons
- A rather dull look
- Higher price than the competition
Of the “vibrating finger” sex toys I’ve had the chance to test, the Fun Factory Be One is now my favourite. It’s simple, very easy to manoeuvre and powerful enough, and you don’t need fingers of any particular size to use it.
