When it comes to pop culture being repurposed for naughty purposes, Pokémon are a recurring theme, what with the adult toys inspired by Pokémon created by Geeky Sex Toys, and the various porn parodies of the game… and I have to admit, I rather like it. That’s why I wanted to try the sexy Pikachu costume from Mythical Creature.
Costume packaging
The packaging is fairly basic: a classic plastic bag.
Nothing groundbreaking here; it’s as classic as it gets for a costume, sexy or otherwise. This isn’t packaging that screams luxury and champagne, just something functional.
That said, the plastic is quite thick and sturdy, so you can use it to store the costume without any problem; it even has a little button to close it again. No doubt, though, that many people will prefer to throw it away and keep the costume in the wardrobe.
It’s worth noting the pair of yellow fingerless gloves, which complete the outfit nicely (we forgot them in the try-on photos, but you can see them above).
What the Mythical Creature sexy Pikachu costume looks like
A surprise when I unpacked it… But it’s not sexy at all, actually; it’s just a Halloween costume. That said, it’s not ugly at all either; the outfit is quite pretty and well put together.
No particular issues with the cut: it’s a fairly tight-fitting jumpsuit, but not excessively so. It fastens at the front with a zip that starts at the waist. It accentuates the bum and breasts without flattening them or leaving them lost in the fabric. At the back, there’s a little fabric tail, which isn’t detachable.
To make this costume sexier, you can open the zip a little at the front to reveal some cleavage.
Extra points for the Pikachu-eared hood, which is pretty good and captures the look of the famous Pokémon.
Conclusion on the Mythical Creature Pikachu costume
Well, the Mythical Creature Pikachu costume can’t really be described as a “sexy costume”. It’s just a 100% classic costume. However, it’s far from ugly, and the quality is pretty good. It’s not exactly cheap, but it’s still affordable: just under 60 euros.
If you’re looking for a classic Pikachu costume that can go from ordinary to sexy (by unzipping it), go for it. If you’re really looking for something very sexy, we’d recommend taking a look at the other items at Rue des Plaisirs.
