Nobessence Seduction

Nobessence Seduction wooden dildo review

on

The Nobessence Seduction is an S-shaped wooden dildo. You can choose to insert either of its ends, which are very different from each other.

Its unusual look made me want it, especially as its silhouette strongly suggested an accessory that could be used to target the G-spot.

Here is the review of the Nobessence Seduction.

Packaging

The Seduction’s packaging is the same as that of the Fling, from the same brand. A very thick, brown and grey cardboard box, padded with fabric.

Its bottom is fitted with two elastic bands, which keep the sextoy in place.

This box, at least original, can be kept as a storage case, although it is a bit bulky. Between the padding and the elastic bands, the dildo is perfectly protected from knocks.

Appearance and dimensions

The Nobessence Seduction is a sizeable sextoy. If you measure straight from one end to the other, disregarding its curve: 23 centimetres long.

Its slimmest end is a ball 4 centimetres in diameter, while the other side, also smooth and rounded, continues the sextoy’s curve, which widens up to 5 centimetres in diameter.

Texture and materials

The Nobessence Seduction is available in two versions: bamboo and black palm.

Bamboo wood is the material that makes up the Nobessence Incite, which we reviewed a few weeks ago. Bamboo is not a tree, but a grass (thanks Wikipedia). What we call its “wood” is made from strips glued together and compressed.

The Seduction sample we received is in black palm. I was very surprised when I discovered this wood. It is mottled, a brown speckled with small black spots, which at first glance resemble tiny brushstrokes. It’s very pretty. In reality, this is the natural texture of black palm wood.

By the way, like bamboo, palm is not a tree, but a “giant grass”. Theoretically, to remain botanically correct, we shouldn’t therefore say “bamboo wood” but “bamboo grass”.

That said, in everyday language, people still talk about bamboo wood, because it can be carved like wood and looks like wood.

The varnish gives the item a glossy finish, characteristic of Nobessence sextoys. Like any good varnish for a sextoy, it makes the Seduction perfectly waterproof.

The only thing to be careful about: avoid knocks, which could damage the varnish or crack the wood. And in the event of a knock, check the surface of the item to make sure it is still in good condition before using it again. With the sextoy held underwater, no bubbles should appear.

Using the Nobessence Seduction

The Nobessence Seduction is a reversible sextoy. You can choose to insert either end, as you prefer. Both are primarily intended for G-spot stimulation, but the effect varies very noticeably depending on which way you hold the device.

As the item is S-shaped, you can get the same tilt, whichever side you use, and so, once you’ve worked it out, maintain the optimal orientation to reach the G-spot without twisting your wrist.

The ball end

The spherical end is intended for very targeted G-spot stimulation. It’s also the easiest one to insert.

You feel your way with this little ball until you find the precise area of the G-spot. Once it’s found, whether you press on it, rub it, or bump it, the stimulation is exclusively focused on it, insistent and centred.

The wide end

Now let’s turn the Seduction around. The ball then becomes the handle, and the flared part penetrates the vagina. Personally, this is the way I preferred to use it.

Of course, the dildo being wider on this side, insertion is a little more difficult. So you’ll be inclined to first take the sextoy the other way around to “warm up”.

But the item is very smooth and rigid. Once you’re “in the mood”, it inserts without too much difficulty, with the help of a small amount of lubricant.

Speaking of lubricant, by the way, like the other wooden sextoys we’ve reviewed here, it’s compatible with almost any type of sexual lubricant (for vaginal penetration, water-based or silicone, your choice).

On this side, the ball becomes a handle you can grip firmly, and it makes the dildo easier to handle.

The stimulation then spreads over a wider area. The G-spot is still targeted, but the pressure also spreads over its surroundings.

Conclusion on the Nobessence Seduction

The good points:

  • the Nobessence Seduction is very pretty, and the texture of the black palm wood is particularly original and pleasing to the eye.
  • It effectively stimulates the G-spot, and in two different ways. Your choice: very targeted, for a localized pressure, or more spread out, to stimulate the whole G-spot area and its surroundings. To go from one sensation to the other, just turn the sextoy around.
  • It’s made of wood, a durable material that requires very little maintenance.

The bad points:

  • Its only bad point: its price. At €160, the Seduction won’t appeal to all wallets.

Review score

Nobessence Seduction
9 .2 / 10

Pros

  • Very effective for G-spot stimulation, in two different ways
  • Very pretty
  • Particularly original material (black palm wood)

Cons

  • High price

In short: the Nobessence Seduction is an excellent sextoy, original in both its appearance and its use, beautiful and very effective for G-spot stimulation.

Unfortunately, it is expensive. But if your budget allows you to afford it, I recommend it without hesitation.
