We’ve been showing you sex toys for a little while now, but most of them share one slightly awkward common point: they require a certain budget.
So I’ve decided to go looking for a cool but cheap sex toy. My choice fell on the O-Zone G-Spot vibrator, from the brand Odeco.
For men, the Tenga eggs are a good starting point, but for women it’s more complicated, all the more so because there’s an embarrassment of choices. Let’s be clear: you can find vibrators for less than 10 euros… But only to end up with an ineffective gadget and/or one often made from a more or less toxic material…
In short, if you get on well with your cunt, be nice: spare her this indignity.
Important criterion No. 1 for us: the material. The jelly is ruled out straight away, as it’s a porous material that generally contains nasties. Hard plastics can transmit vibrations weakly if the device’s motor lacks power, so looking that way for cheap vibrators is perhaps not very wise. Silicone therefore seems to be the most advisable material.
As for the quality of the vibrations, the only way to form an opinion is to have the object between… the hands!
O-Zone is actually the name of an entire range made by Odeco, which can sometimes cause confusion between the various models associated with this name (especially as they are often renamed in order to distinguish them from one another).
The O-Zone G-Spot costs less than thirty euros (and the other sex toys in the range have quite similar prices). We’ll have to take this into account in order to form an objective opinion about this object. We won’t ask it to meet the same standard as a sex toy costing more than 150 euros. But still, we’ll demand that it meets a certain number of essential criteria.
The sex toy
Packaging
The packaging is cardboard, with a transparent plastic part that lets the sex toy show through.
As expected at this price, no storage pouch included. So you’ll need to get a case if you want it properly protected.
For my part, some time ago I bought a batch of satin pouches for a few euros online.

The O-Zone now has a cosy, protective home (like all its little buddies, which are supplied without cases).
I know I’m repeating myself a bit, but if you’re thinking of finding a home for a silicone sex toy, be careful about the material, as synthetic materials can sometimes ‘melt’ silicone when they come into contact (and vice versa, I imagine).
Appearance
The model we’re interested in here is a ‘G-Spot’ vibrator (but we can assume that all the O-Zones share a lot in common, in terms of the motors, material, texture, vibration modes, etc.).
The O-Zone G-Spot (not to be confused with its brother, the O-Zone Thor, which is also a ‘G-spot’ vibrator) is burgundy, with a curved tip.
I chose this model because its unusual shape intrigued me. Upon discovering the toy, He pointed out to me that it resembled the Linea. I leave you to judge it yourself:

Texture and material
Its instruction sheet states that the O-zone is made from 100% silicone.
Its body is rigid, with a surface that remains soft nonetheless, while its curved tip is supple and very flexible.
The flexibility of the vibrator’s head
It is virtually odourless, although you will still notice a very slight plastic smell if you stick your nose right up to it (but then again, bear in mind that it is brand new and freshly out of the box).
Power
The Odeco O-Zone runs on two AAA batteries.
You can assume this is one of the reasons behind its low price: no built-in battery. If you don’t want to keep buying batteries, it’s best to get a charger and rechargeable batteries. On the other hand, you can be certain the gadget won’t break down over time because of a battery running flat.
Opening the battery compartment
Installing the batteries is easy: simply twist the sex toy’s handle to unscrew it.
Removing them is another story. Unscrewing the handle isn’t a problem, but getting the batteries out is a bit more fiddly — they refuse to come out and you have to tap the back of it, head down, for a while… Well, luckily, we won’t be changing batteries every day.
Use
Controls and vibration modes
The Odeco O-Zone has one and only one button, which lets you turn it on (short press), turn it off (long press), and cycle through the vibration modes (short press).
Speaking of vibration modes, it has seven:
- First, three “classic” vibration modes, with different intensities.
- A regular pulsation mode.
- A mode that alternates between two short pulses and one long one.
- A mode in which the vibrations gradually increase in intensity before abruptly dropping back to zero and starting again.
- A mode that alternates between seven very fast pulses and one long pulse.
In practice
The Odeco O-Zone is rather long and slim (21 centimetres long overall, with 16 centimetres being the insertable part).
Combined with its curved tip, this allows it to effectively stimulate the inside of the vagina, and in particular the area generally associated with the G-spot.
The flexibility of its tip cushions the pressure exerted on this area, avoiding any risk of discomfort.
Thanks to its handle, it is easy to manoeuvre. The vibrations are perfectly acceptable, but a little extra punch would be welcome. As a vaginal sextoy, it is entirely sufficient, but if you want to repurpose it as a clitoral sextoy, it proves a bit underpowered for that use (although still usable).
Conclusion
The good points:
- Its price : under thirty euros. Cheaper than a sushi platter.
- It is made of medical-grade silicone. So there are no toxic or allergenic substances, and the texture is pleasant.
The bad points:
- It isn’t a powerhouse when it comes to vibrations. But let’s not forget: I’m not sure a powerhouse under 30 euros even exists!
Review score
Pros
- Low price
- 100% silicone
- Practical handle
Cons
- Low-power vibrations
Admittedly, the Odeco O-Zone doesn’t measure up to luxury sex toys that cost four, even five or six times its price. But it lets you get an effective vibrator in a much more accessible price range, with no major flaws, made from a high-quality, safe and pleasant material, with nice touches like the very soft head and the tacky but practical handle.
