The dildo Dito represents the vulva of an extraterrestrial, equipped with a giant clitoris. This one, long, very thin and slightly curved, stands upright on the vulva in question, which serves as its base. The whole thing is very stable. I find it pretty and original, no other sex toy looks anything like it. The anatomy of this androgynous sex is really well thought out, you can make out a small orifice for purely ornamental purposes, surrounded by two pairs of lips, and overtopped by its imposing clit. Incidentally, if you like penetration but not the look of a penis, the Dito can be an interesting alternative to more abstract dildos. The version we received is gold, with a kind of marbled pattern. The result is very pretty.
But the brand Petit Vice offers no fewer than 19 shades to choose from. The price of the Dito varies depending on the shade, between €69 for solid colours and €80 for marbled tones and the phosphorescent white. In terms of dimensions, it’s very reasonable. Indeed, the sex toy measures 19 centimetres overall, but for only 13 centimetres insertable, with a diameter of 3.5 centimetres.
Texture and materials
Like all Petit Vice sex toys, the Dito is made of pure silicone. This material is healthy for the body and perfectly odour-free. As for its care, everything is very simple. One real constraint: stick to water-based lubricants, as silicone-based ones are likely to damage the sex toy. Apart from that, the other precautions for use are obvious: don’t bite it, cut it, or cook it… And of course, don’t neglect consent, or condoms. Regular cleaning is done with water and soap, but you can also sterilise the Dito by leaving it in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes.
You can choose between three textures: Hard, Medium, or Soft. Petit Vice offers a guide, which helps you navigate all these options. The brand specifies, among other things, that:
- The texture hard is comparable to a well-erected cock, or to the silicone you find from more conventional brands.
- The hardness medium evokes taut muscles beneath the skin.
- The texture soft is similar to muscles at rest. This softness will have an impact on the sex toy’s stability, which will be more prone to bending the thinner it is. It’s therefore probably not ideal for the Dito, whose insertable part is rather thin.
We received the hard. If it is indeed firm, it is not rigid like wood, however.
Using the Dito by Petit Vice
One of the Dito’s particularities is its stability that is second to none. Indeed, its base, which is wider and heavier than the rest of the sex toy, ensures its balance.
Once the dildo is standing upright, it will not tip over to the side, and you can use it even without your hands. Its tentacled companion, Howard, is fairly similar in this regard. But the resemblance ends there. Indeed, the Dito is much thinner, and firmer. The surface of the dildo is very smooth, and rather firm. With its curvature, it manages to exert sustained pressure against the G-spot area, even when riding it without holding it. The sensations are on point!
