Rabbit Seducer by Minds of Love: our review

Here is our test of the rabbit Seducer, a vibrator from the German brand Minds of Love.

I wanted to test a rabbit. Two brands caught my attention: Minds Of Love and Layla.

These two brands share a very “presentable” appearance. Indeed, the sex toys Minds of Love and Layla come in understated and aesthetic packaging, without a single suggestive illustration.
I chose the Seducer because, while retaining the rabbit principle, its lack of “rabbit-like” ears sets it apart from the stereotype of the original rabbits in the style of “Sex and the City”. This less girly design seems more likely to appeal to a female audience that isn’t so narrowly targeted, one that doesn’t necessarily want to consume the TV series through unusual orifices.

This sly pink rabbit, with hardly anything left of a rabbit, boasts features that seem honest: two motors, no phthalates, six vibration modes with adjustable intensity… Let’s see how it performs in use.

Packaging for the Seducer rabbit

As I said earlier, the Seducer box is rather understated and unfussy. It is illustrated with a photo of the object, on a white background, with a female silhouette in subtle shadow.

It is nevertheless a standard package. It is not sturdy enough to be kept long-term as a storage box for the object. It will therefore be advisable to buy a storage case, to protect the Seducer from any potential contact with other sex toys. In fact, different plastic materials, when in contact with one another, can undergo chemical reactions that damage the objects.

Look of the Seducer rabbit from Minds of Love

On its presentation photo, the colour seems to shift towards a pearlescent violet, but in reality, the Seducer is a vivid fuchsia. Its shape evokes that of a bud, or of a closed flower with a leaf. Depending on the angle, you can also see two entwined silhouettes.

Its handle is white.

The sex toy itself has two “heads”, one large and one small.

Texture and material

The Seducer is very flexible. Its handle, which is used to adjust the controls, is made of hard plastic. The rest of the sex toy is made of soft silicone. It can be twisted (not too much, but enough to make it pleasant to handle), and its surface is soft and rather malleable. Its frame is slightly flexible.

It is completely odourless.

Using the rabbit Seducer

The purpose of a rabbit is to stimulate the vagina and the clitoris simultaneously.

Its larger part allows vaginal stimulation, while its smaller part handles the clitoris.

Power

The Seducer is powered by four AAA batteries. Investing in a battery charger can therefore prove very useful for always having some ammunition at hand. That is indeed what we did. (Suddenly, I had a sudden urge to write a review of the charger… But that would be a bit off-topic.)

The batteries go into a compartment you can reach by unclipping the handle of the sex toy. To do this, you need to firmly hold the body of the vibrator with one hand and twist the base down sharply by a quarter turn.

This locking system, which requires a bit of force on the plastic handle, seemed to us a bit ‘cheap’, although it remains acceptable. You will still need to be careful about the water resistance of the item around its handle and the joint with it. It doesn’t mind splashes, but don’t expect it to take a bath, and a shower can be risky for its circuits, which could oxidise.

Vibrations

It is stated that the Seducer has six vibration modes. Each of these six modes is available in four speeds.

The sex toy has three buttons on its handle:

• A round button, in the middle, that you press to change the vibration mode. A long press on this button turns the sex toy on or off.
• A “+”, which increases the vibration intensity.
• A “-“, which decreases their intensity.

The device has two motors, which vibrate independently of each other. One is located in the part that stimulates the vagina, the other in the part that stimulates the clitoris.

The vibration modes follow in the following order:

• Classic vibrations
• Slow, long, regular pulsations
• Regular “waves”
• Rapid regular pulsations
• Short, regular, very fast pulses
• Alternating between one long pulse and two short pulses

The mode I prefer is the first one, which corresponds to basic vibrations, available in four speeds.

Noise level

The vibrations are a little louder than those of theLELO IRIS, for example, but the noise level remains perfectly acceptable. The transition between modes and speeds also seems a little more abrupt.

Solo use

A drawback I find with rabbits is that you often have to wait until the device is inside your vagina before you can benefit from the clitoral stimulation. Often, however, you prefer to start with the clitoris. We’ll see whether its effectiveness can make up for this drawback…

If you’re planning to start a masturbation session using a rabbit, you therefore need to have some lubricant. You can also start with clitoral stimulation using your fingers, the larger end of the rabbit, or another sex toy.

The Minds of Love Seducer is fairly easy to handle. Its handle is easy to hold, and its settings are fairly easy to reach without looking.

That said, there is an ergonomic shortcoming with the controls (not serious, but still annoying when it happens): if you change the mode without meaning to (pressing the wrong button, it happens), you are had to cycle through the modes one by one with the round button to get back to where I was – and with so many vibration modes, it’s quite a hassle.

It allows me to reach orgasm without too much difficulty, in a time that is far from record-breaking, but one that remains reasonable: after about 15 minutes of use for the first orgasm (this is only an estimate, I didn’t time it).

If you want instant orgasms, steer your choice towards clitoral vibrators ultra-powerful, such as the Body Wand or the Fairy.

Its surface is very soft, and it is quite flexible. It doesn’t exert any unwanted pressure or friction, and I can use it without issue for several consecutive orgasms without the slightest discomfort.

Use for two

The physical stimulation provided by the Seducer is exclusively for women.

Anal use on a man doesn’t seem particularly worthwhile: the clitoral part of the sextoy would get in the way, unless you enjoy vibrations on the cleft of your buttocks (well…). And even then, it would place the rest of the device (which is curved) in a position not conducive to pleasant sensations.

In short, the Seducer is entirely dedicated to female pleasure.

If you’re a man, your relationship with it will therefore be platonic. But if a female partner is nearby, it could very well become a valuable ally during foreplay, to complement your skills by providing complementary sensations.

Thanks to its soft texture, it can be used without awkwardness during cunnilingus. It will also be very pleasant to use the Seducer for vaginal and clitoral stimulation while performing a fellatio, or during anal penetration.

Conclusion on the Minds of Love Seducer rabbit

The good points:

• Its flexibility and sufficiently powerful vibrations allow it to deliver repeated orgasms, while remaining very comfortable to use.
• It proves very playful for two-person use, and blends in complete harmony with a couple’s caresses.

The drawbacks:

• A few flaws in its build, which seems a little ‘cheap’ in certain details. In particular, its battery compartment is not the most practical in the world.
• Another ‘cheap’ detail: the motors, which do not seem as high-tech as those from LELO, for example, as they are a little noisier and less sophisticated.

 

The Minds of Love Rabbit Seducer is an effective and rather elegant vibrator, despite a few finish-related oversights.

But these are offset by its price, around fifty euros, which is a very low cost when compared to the chic, flawless major brands (LELO, We Vibe, etc.), for which you would need to at least double the budget.
