Review of the Nobessence Fling, a carved wooden dildo

Nobessence is a brand that makes sex toys made of wood, polished and coated in a hypoallergenic varnish that allows them to resist moisture without posing any risk to the body.

The result is very pretty, with smooth and soft sculptures, whose shape is perfectly adapted to the anatomy.

Distrilove, the French distributor of the Nobessence brand, has allowed us to discover one of the models in this range: the Nobessence Fling, a pleasure object that can be used, if desired, as an anal or vaginal dildo.

I was pleasantly surprised by this object, which I will present to you in this article.

The sex toy’s case

The packaging is the same for all of the brand’s products.

 

The box that contains the Nobessence Fling is made from very sturdy cardboard, covered with a rough fabric on the outside and lined with a soft fabric on the inside. Two elastic bands keep the sex toy in place.

 

This case, original and particularly sturdy, will make an excellent box for storing the object. The only thing one could blame it for is being a bit bulky. If you are short on space, a smaller case can prove useful. For my part, although I am struggling to find a corner in the cupboard that is not already full of sex toys, I can’t throw this box away. Impossible. I’m keeping it.

 

The look of the Nobessence Fling

The Nobessence Fling is a wooden sculpture.

 

Depending on the angle at which you look at it, you might be reminded of a bottle opener. But the end that evokes this shape is in fact its handle, which allows it to be handled comfortably.

Its surface reflects the light. By observing it, you can see the patterns formed by the wood grain. These patterns are unique, as they depend on the tree from which the object was carved. Thus, two sex toys of the same model will not be exactly identical.

Dimensions of the dildo

The object is 18 centimetres long, handle included.

The handle is 6 centimetres wide, with a hole of about 4 × 2.5 centimetres to slip your fingers through (you’d better not have bear paws for that, but we had no problem with it).

The part intended to be inserted measures 4 centimetres in diameter at its widest point.

At its centre, the sex toy is very thin, with less than one centimetre in diameter.

To better visualise its size, in the photo next to it, we see it in the company of a small lighter (our sex toys really do have strange company).

Texture and material: a wooden dildo

The Nobessence Fling is compatible with all types of lubricants.

Its texture is firm (Normal, it’s wood. Do you often come across soft wood?), but its surface is extremely smooth, soft and silky, as it is perfectly polished.

The object is covered in a hypoallergenic varnish, which makes it waterproof.

Using the Nobessence Fling

The Nobessence Fling is easy and firm to hold in the hand, thanks to its handle into which you can slide two fingers.

 

Anal use

Upon discovering the Nobessence Fling in real life, I immediately thought that this object would fit perfectly in a toy box.

This sex toy has an ideal shape for anal penetration.

One rounded, smooth and fairly wide end, which nonetheless still requires a certain amount of lubricant and relaxation to get in, followed by a very thin section, which allows the anus to recover without having to pull the device back out immediately.

Its firmness is not a problem, as, being round and extremely smooth, it slides more easily than a conventional sex toy.

Note that this is not a plug. The part that remains outside is too long to think about sitting down or walking around with it.

Vaginal use

The shape of the Nobessence Fling also makes it very practical for stimulating the area of the vagina that is associated with the G-spot. To do this, you have to insert it with its concave part facing forward, which allows you to exert controlled pressure on the front of the vagina.

You can also use another sex toy simultaneously for clitoral stimulation (or use your fingers, that works too).

Caring for a wooden dildo

Another characteristic I really like about this sex toy: there are no specific instructions to follow to clean it or store it.

There is no risk of it being damaged in the presence of water, or in contact with other materials. You can, without any qualms, leave it in a bed, place it on a shelf or tuck it quickly into a drawer, and its cleaning, with water and soap, is simple and quick.

Conclusion about the Nobessence Fling

The Nobessence Fling is a very beautiful wooden pleasure object, original, soft and pleasant to use.

Admittedly, it has no specific “features”, it does not vibrate, does not flash and does not play Für Elise when you use it, which may be missed by fans of gadget sex toys.

But, on the other hand, it therefore makes no noise. This allows you to use it wherever you want and whenever you want, in complete discretion.

And besides, it is an object you can keep for a long time. It will not run out of battery, and you will not find it half-melted after having stored it in bad company (which is, unfortunately, the tragic fate of many sex toys).
