We have reviewed the Rosebuds Reloaded, a version of the well-known intimate jewel adorned with a rounded glass pearl.
Indeed, we had wanted for a very long time to try a Rosebuds plug for anal use.
But, given the number of existing models on the market, we really did not know which one to go for. So, when the shop “L’arbre des plaisirs” offered us the chance to test this model, we jumped at the opportunity.
So here is the review of the Rosebuds Reloaded Small.
Sex toy packaging
The packaging consists of a single fabric pouch, blue in colour.
It’s very soft, but perfectly suited to this kind of sex toy. This way, the Rosebud is protected from dust and prying eyes.
Appearance of the Rosebuds Reloaded Small
This Rosebud has a total length of about 6 centimetres. It consists of an insertable part about 3 centimetres long, and a base about 1 cm long (excluding the jewel). These two parts are linked by a thinner section, about 2 centimetres long.
The overall diameter is 2.5 centimetres for the insertable part and the base, and about 5 millimetres for the central part.
And this is precisely the most important point when choosing your future Rosebud: the notion of diameter, which really must influence the choice of model… But we’ll come back to that when we discuss use.
Texture and material
No particular risk on this side, we are dealing with a very well-made sex toy, in surgical steel (303 stainless steel), and pressed glass for the ornaments.
Use of the Rosebuds Reloaded
And it is here that we come to the crux of the matter… As I mentioned earlier, the choice of diameter for your future Rosebud really needs all your attention.
The model we are reviewing at present, in Small size, turned out to be far too small for us. Indeed, as the diameter of the base was rather tiny, the sex toy almost slipped in completely, with all the consequences you can imagine (had it stayed stuck, oh, the panic in A&E…).
But, rest assured, as we are stubborn and curious, we found a trick to test this ‘Small’ Rosebud anyway, simply by tying a string to the base (hey, you never know…).
So, the sensations..? Well, once we had got over the apprehension linked to the fear that it would go in completely and get stuck in the anus, we particularly enjoyed the pressure exerted by the Rosebuds against the vaginal wall. During shared penetration, it really increases pleasure.
The sensations in solo use (purely anal) would, in our case, have required a larger model. So, I think we will probably, in a (near) future, become the happy owners of an L or XL model, better suited to our fantasies…
Conclusion on the Rosebuds Reloaded Small
The good points:
- The quality of manufacturing.
- The case provided.
The bad points:
- The difficulty in choosing an appropriate diameter.
- A slightly larger base would be a plus.
Would I recommend this Rosebuds? Yes, without any hesitation, for starting out in the pursuit of anal pleasure…
However, for experienced people (sodomy, fist, etc…), I could not recommend enough choosing a more suitable size (L or XL), in order to avoid any scare…
