With the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration, Womanizer’s rival has released an air pulse vibrator with a fully silicone surface. In short: a soft sex toy, from its tip to its handle, right down to its controls. Its look also sets it apart from previous models.
Some people criticise the German brand for churning out sex toys left, right and centre, so as to always have new products to offer… And that’s not entirely wrong. With, among them, some good and some disappointing surprises.
But what is this gizmo actually worth? Here’s our review of the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration.
Packaging of the sex toy
On the packaging front, nothing extraordinary: a cardboard box, disposable. It’s been a while since we received the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration, and since then, the brand has updated its packaging – thicker and a bit more upscale, but still disposable.
No storage accessory is included.
Look of the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration
The Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration is matte black, with a gold metallic band that separates its head from its body. Not something to gush about for hours, but it is still more appealing than the rather sad look of the earlier models, such as the Satisfyer Pro 2, for instance.
Its look vaguely echoes that of certain Lelo sex toys, but with perhaps slightly less refined finishes.
Texture and materials
Apart from its metallic band (made of rigid metallised plastic or metal?), the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration’s coating is silicone. It’s a body-safe material, non-porous and odourless.
Powering the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration
The Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration is rechargeable.
Its cable, which plugs into a USB port, is similar to that of the brand’s other sex toys. Two small metal pins stand on its handle, and the cable head adheres to them magnetically.
It is waterproof, but unlike those of the other models, its clitoral tip is not removable. In short, you can’t take it off to clean it separately, and water tends to seep underneath. Theoretically, this shouldn’t be a problem, but the sex toy remains a bit more of a hassle to dry.
Controls and modes
The controls of the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration are in every way identical to those of the brand’s other sex toys combining vibrations and pulsations, such as the Satisfyer Luxury Prêt-à-porter, for example.
The gizmo has three buttons:
- A pair of “+” and “-“ buttons controls the power of the suction and pulsations, with 11 intensity levels. To start them, you press and hold the “+” button. And to stop them, well… you do the same, which is hardly intuitive.
- A round button allows you to navigate between 10 vibration programmes, three of which are constant and seven are fancy. You start and stop them with a long press of the same button.
So my opinion doesn’t differ from what I thought of other similar models. These aren’t the worst controls in the world, far from it, but you can find better ergonomically.
Using the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration
The tip of the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration is particularly soft, even more so than that of the earlier Satisfyers. This softness proves very pleasant against the clitoris.
Another appreciable point: the very slight tilt of the sex toy’s body relative to its tip allows you to use it at an angle where it’s easy to target the clitoris and then stay in place on top of it.
On the other hand, its vibrations are less effective, because instead of staying targeted around the rim, they spread across the entire sex toy, and largely into your fingers. This may be linked to the fact that the whole surface of the vibrator is covered in silicone.
Apart from these few differences, the Pro 3 Vibration bears a strong resemblance to the Satisfyer Pro 2 Vibration; the sensations are quite comparable.
Conclusion on the Satisfyer Pro 3 Vibration
The good points:
- Overall, it’s an effective sex toy, and orgasms are guaranteed.
- Its tip is very soft, and therefore very pleasant on the clitoris.
- It’s not very expensive: a little under €60.
The bad points:
- The vibrations are poorly distributed; they get lost in the handle of the toy instead of staying concentrated on its clitoral tip.
- The controls could be improved.
