Satisfyer having sent us a rather impressive parcel of sex toys, I was lucky enough to try it out. Here’s my review of the Satisfyer Vibes Yummy Sunshine.
Sex toy packaging
The toy arrives in a cardboard box, a disposable one padded with plastic. No storage case is included.
Look of the Satisfyer Vibes Yummy Sunshine
The sex toy is a long yellow vibrator, with a hollow circular handle. Apart from a vague air of a futuristic banana, its design is in the same spirit as the other toys in the Satisfyer Vibes range, and also reminds us of the look of certain Fun Factory sex toys.
In short: a sober shape, but with a flashy colour. It doesn’t seem to be targeting a ‘luxury’ image, but rather aiming for the ‘fun’ and ‘for everyone (adults)’ side.
Its diameter varies between 3.5 and 4 centimetres depending on where you measure.
Texture and materials
The vibrator is made of soft silicone, flexible and plush. This material, very commonly used to manufacture sex toys, is body-safe and pleasant to the touch.
Powering the Satisfyer Vibes Yummy Sunshine
The Yummy Sunshine is rechargeable. Its charger is a USB cable, with a proprietary magnetic connector, identical to the one used by the brand’s other sex toys.
Controls and modes
The controls are the same as those of the other sex toys in the Satisfyer Vibes range (or certain Fun Factory toys, such as the Patchy Paul or the Big Boss G5).
Three buttons are located on the vibrator’s handle:
- One to turn the sex toy on or off,
- Two others to navigate between vibration modes. It starts on the third constant intensity level. The top button gives access to two lower constant modes, and the bottom one, to six stronger constant modes, then to six ‘playful’ modes.
It’s fairly simple and intuitive, but in practice, the six ‘playful’ modes weren’t really necessary.
Effectiveness of the Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine
Used externally against the clitoris, the sex toy’s vibrations are powerful enough to orgasm with, provided you have a little time to spare. It’s not going to make you climb the walls in thirty seconds, shower included, either.
But it’s for vaginal penetration that this sex toy really comes into its own. Its shape is pleasant, it allows gentle penetration, with a fairly substantial diameter that provides a sense of fullness. Although the sex toy doesn’t press too hard on the G-spot area, the vibrations, rather powerful, distribute themselves there effectively.
Conclusion on the Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine
The good points:
- It’s a sex toy of quite satisfactory quality, in silicone, with fairly powerful vibrations, and rather practical controls.
- All of this, at a reasonable price (under €50).
The bad points:
- Apart from its colour, it’s fairly ordinary. That’s not a fault in itself, but if you’re looking for an original toy, this may not be the best choice.
