The Fun Factory Jam is a very standard mini clitoral vibrator, made by the famous German brand. We tested it.
Packaging
A small cardboard box, disposable. No storage case.
Appearance of the sex toy
The Fun Factory Jam is a very small vibrator, navy blue in colour, with a white battery compartment. It is also available in fuchsia.
Although its shape is fairly straight, the patterns on its surface evoke the silhouette of a caterpillar. Still, it is a far cry from the Patchy Paul and its face of a friendly, plump little insect.
Texture and materials
The Fun Factory Jam is made of medical-grade silicone. Like all the brand’s sex toys. This material is odourless and safe for the body.
However, this silicone has a small flaw, common with Fun Factory: a tendency to attract dust.
Power supply
The Fun Factory Jam is powered by a single AA battery. This rather impractical power source is a bit outdated.
On top of that, same issue as with the Joupie: the battery compartment opens by twisting the base of the vibrator. And it switches on and off by making roughly the same movement. In short, when you switch on the sex toy, if you twist a bit too hard, you accidentally open the compartment and drop the batteries.
It is waterproof… That’s something at least.

Controls and modes
Like the Joupie, the Fun Factory Jam is devoid of any way to adjust the vibration intensity. It is either on or off. And that’s it.
Effectiveness
Because of its small size, the Jam can only be used as a clitoral vibrator.
Same observation as with the Joupie: as for vibration power, it’s passable, but no more. I can orgasm with it, but I have to work at it a bit. So it’s not a sex toy I would genuinely enjoy using.
Conclusion on the Fun Factory Jam mini vibrator
The good points:
- The Jam is made of pure silicone.
- It is waterproof.
- It costs less than 30 euros.
The bad points:
- Its vibrations lack power.
- You can’t adjust the vibration intensity.
- You can accidentally open the battery compartment when trying to switch on the sex toy.
Review score
Pros
- Made of pure silicone
- Waterproof
- Costs less than 30 euros
Cons
- Lacks power
- No adjustment
- Risk of accidentally opening the battery compartment
Granted, the Fun Factory Jam is a budget sex toy. But Fun Factory makes sure not to compete with its more expensive vibrators, and the result is a very underwhelming sex toy.
If you have a sex toy budget of 30 euros, choose a different vibrator, like the MyPleasure from Goliate.
Thanks to Fun Factory for providing us with the Jam for this review
