The Stronic Eins by Fun Factory is a new concept in sex toys, one I’ve been hearing about for a few weeks online.
Apparently it’s supposed to be “revolutionary”, but there’s not a single clue to help you understand what it’s actually meant to do precisely. Just that it “pulses”. its advert, I’m no further ahead: all I learn is that Fun Factory is a bit megalomaniacal when it comes to building rooftops. But one thing really leaves me perplexed: why, oh why, have they put garden gnomes in this video?
Sex toy packaging
The Stronic Eins is presented in a cardboard box.
Its exterior features photos of the sex toy, on a black background with glossy black polka dots. Once you remove it, you discover a more understated carton, in a slightly silver-grey, adorned with the brand’s logo. This box, entirely presentable, adequately protects the object before opening.no case is provided, which is a real shame, it’s worth getting a case or a box to protect the Stronic, especially as it’s made of silicone and can be damaged when in contact with certain plastics.
So I’d recommend either buying a box or a case designed for the purpose, or, less expensive and just as effective, using a simple pouch in cotton, velvet or silk (even a sock, but the glamour factor is a bit lacking…).
Charging the Fun Factory Stronic Eins
The Stronic’s charger (the ‘Click & Charge’, compatible with all recent sextoy from the Fun Factory brand) is found in a separate box.
The sextoy box proudly announces that you can buy a super charger. Reading this, I thought it must be an accessory that allows you to charge the batteries more efficiently than what’s provided out of the box. And indeed, more efficient than what’s provided is the least you could say, because the sextoy is sold… without a charger!
Note however that the brand tries to present this as an advantage: the possibility of finding yourself like a complete idiot with a vibrator you can’t recharge, and the obligation to buy a charger as an option. Obvious advantages!
Update: Fun Factory has probably realised that selling a sextoy for over 100 euros without providing its charger was a bit lacking in class. A charging cable (but not a mains adapter) is now included.
The charger clips onto a dedicated area on the sextoy, featuring two magnetised pins.
The manual specifies that charging should not exceed 16 hours. On standby, the battery retains its charge for approximately three months. When switched on, the duration is not specified, but I’ve used it several times and kept it on long enough to observe its operation, without managing to drain the battery.
So at first glance, it all seems perfectly fine. all seems perfectly fine. In any case, the fateful test passed without a hitch: you can use it several times without needing to recharge it between uses.
The look of the Fun Factory Stronic Eins
The Stronic has a relatively phallic shape, without actually resembling a cock (if you see a fuchsia penis, a bit wide at the base but lacking a glans, send me photos). It comes in fuchsia and purple. We received the fuchsia version.
Texture and materials
The handle is made of ABS plastic, while the insertable part is made of silicone 100% medical-grade. It has no plastic smell, and actually smells quite nice, which is curious (a scent that reminds you of raspberry, you could almost eat it!).

Out of curiosity, I gave it a little lick, just to see. And my suspicions are confirmed: it also has a very slight raspberry taste, even though I’ve used it and washed it with soap (non-raspberry) several times. Has Fun Factory discovered the secret recipe for raspberry silicone? Either way, I won’t complain. By the way, dear reader, if you also own a Stronic, don’t hesitate to leave us a comment and tell us if you also find it has a raspberry taste! Anyway.

Its shaft is rigid, but its surface is soft. It has areas that are softer than others: its tip, which is very slightly flexible, and the part of its base that you’ll be pressing against the clitoris.
The Stronic Eins in action
When you switch it on, the Stronic Eins moves in a jerky motion. It’s not back-and-forth like a ‘piston’, the way a fucking machine would do it, but rather a sort of jolting.

The noise generated by a running Stronic Eins is quite reasonable. It’s not vibrations, but ‘pulsations’, so you don’t really hear a proper ‘vrrr!’. It’s very quiet.

Don’t understand the term ‘pulsations’ in the same way as when someone tells you that a ‘classic’ vibrator has vibration and pulsation modes.

In fact, the sex toy contains a thing (probably one or two heavy metal balls and an electromagnet, or something like that) which wiggles around inside, back and forth, when it’s running. The feel of holding it in your hand is actually a bit like shaking a pair of geisha balls.

We also noticed that it’s magnetic in places: it attracts batteries, empty cans, forks, … which is very funny.
Controls and modes
The user manual leaves me slightly perplexed. You’re dealing with a rather tedious diagram that uses arrows and coefficients to lay out all the possible transitions between the various pulsation states.

A tip: skip this part of the manual and go straight to practice. Press all the buttons and you’ll see what they do.

But since I’m thorough and I’ve properly studied the bloody state machine workflow user manual for the Stronic, I’m going to break down its various modes so you know what to expect.
In fact, it’s far from as complex as it looks in the booklet. We have three buttons: ‘Fun’, ‘+’ and ‘-‘.
- ‘Fun’ is used to turn the sex toy on (a long press) and off (a short press).
- ‘+’ and ‘-‘ are used to select a vibration mode. If the diagram seems complicated, it’s simply because the modes aren’t ‘looped’: when you reach the last vibration mode, you don’t go back to the first one by pressing ‘+’ (and, likewise, when you reach the first mode, if you press ‘-‘ again, you stay on the first mode).
Pulsation modes
In total, the Stronic has 10 pulsation modes.
- When switched on, it defaults to a regular pulsing mode, which is the slowest one.
- Moving forward (‟+‟), you’ll find three other regular modes of constant intensity, getting progressively faster.
- Going further forward (‟+‟), you’ll encounter three more whimsical rhythms. The first, of constant intensity, starts with slow pulsations, then suddenly accelerates the pace, which becomes very fast, before gradually slowing down again.
- The second, of constant frequency, gradually increases in intensity until it reaches a peak, then drops without any transition back to the minimum intensity.
- The last one, of constant intensity, alternates without any transition between periods of slow pulsations and periods of rapid pulsations.
- If you go back to the starting position and move backward (‟-‟), you’ll discover three new‟), you’ll find three new ‟little wave‟ modes, alternating between very low-intensity pulsations and strong pulsations.
Using the Fun Factory Stronic Eins
The Stronic is intended for vaginal use only. intended for vaginal use only. for vaginal use only. use only. At least that’s what its instruction manual tells us, with very explicit logos. In the booklet, you can also read that in the crotch, well, it can get stuck. So, in case there was any doubt, we’re now settled on this: it’s not an anal plug.
That said, while the shape of the device doesn’t really seem ideal for anal use, a priori, if you really insist, it doesn’t seem to present any particular danger. Or at least no more than with any other vibrator. I tried applying its tip to my clitoris; the effect wasn’t spectacular. Not meant for that. The Stronic Eins being fairly wide all the same (the insertable part is between 3 and 4 centimetres in diameter, depending on where you measure), it’s best to already be in the mood and/or to have some lubricant on hand before inserting it into the vagina.
The sensations
At first, the sensation is quite surprising. On my first try, I was rather sceptical, like ‟um, what is it actually doing, exactly?‟, and I eventually put it aside in favour of the Smart Wand Large. But you have to persist and tame the strange device.

The Stronic isn’t a sex toy that does all the work for you while you’re lying there, all relaxed. You need to move it, direct it, work it. work it. it. It’s only then that it really comes into its own. Once you’ve found a rhythm that suits you, you can reach orgasm quite quickly with the Stronic. Its soft head and its pulses allow it to effectively stimulate the area of the vagina we associate with the G-spot. One small caveat: its official description states that its shape allows it to stimulate external erogenous zones. But in my experience, even tilting the sex toy to the maximum, its base doesn’t touch my clitoris. And yet, my clit is perfectly ordinary and normally positioned. But nothing stops you from using a clitoral stimulator at the same time. I used it with the Smart Wand Medium (the Large was a bit too… ‘large’ to fit alongside it), the combination of the two was more than beneficial.
Conclusion on the Fun Factory Stronic Eins
In the end, I really like the Fun Factory Stronic Eins.
Pros:
- The Stronic’s pulses are original, and offer a change from the usual vibrations. What’s more, its size is substantial. It therefore provides effective and unconventional stimulation from inside the vagina. In a few words: it’s more effective than average in terms of vaginal stimulation.
- It’s rechargeable.
- It’s made exclusively of body-safe materials (medical silicone for the insertable part).
Cons:
- The Stronic Eins lacks accessories. For a sex toy with a rather hefty price tag (€139), you’d expect at least a few basic necessities: a pouch, for example.
Review score
Pros
- The pulsations!
- Very effective for vaginal stimulation
- 100% silicone
Cons
- Lack of accessories
In short, the Stronic’s pulsations are not a marketing lie – it pulses rather well, and it’s even quite surprising in the hand. For my part, I particularly enjoyed using it alongside a clitoral vibrator. In fact, for vaginal use – its primary purpose – I find it more effective than a vibrating model. That said, it’s worth bearing in mind that it isn’t designed for clitoral stimulation at all (nor is it effective for it, a fortiori).
