The Glassvibrations Teufelszunge glass dildo caught my attention at first glance. It’s a dildo shaped like a dragon’s tongue, a lovely ochre red, almost opaque in places, with raised “bumps” on the top.
I like glass sex toys, and I like textured sex toys just as much.
So I didn’t need to know how to pronounce the name of the lovely Glassvibrations Teufelszunge dildo to be really keen to test it.
Packaging of the glass dildo
The Teufelszunge comes in a thick cardboard box, quite sturdy, the top of which has a large clear plastic “window”, allowing you to view the object. The bottom of the box is covered with a thick cushion.
Care is needed, as this box closes with two magnets that are not very powerful (in any case not strong enough to keep the box closed if you hold it upside down). Straps are provided to keep the sex toy in place, but you will still need to remember to tie them every time you put it back in its box.
On the other hand, the box’s structure is sturdy, it is unlikely to get flattened, and the cushion-mattress is really classy. The supplied box can therefore serve as a “definitive” storage box, provided you handle it with care.
A fabric case, which closes with a drawstring, is also provided. As always, I think it’s really nice that a storage pouch accompanies a sex toy, because these are the kind of objects you often can’t just leave lying around on a table, and which require a certain amount of hygiene and protection.
This case is soft to the touch, its texture reminds me of the fabrics used in most swimwear.
Appearance of the Glassvibrations Teufelszunge
The sex toy looks as if it had come straight out of a heroic fantasy novel. “Teufelszunge” means “devil’s tongue”. It is also the German name of an Asian flower that carries the sweet French name of amorphophallus konjac (konjac for the intimates), which is used, among other things, to make sweets.
This dildo is ochre-red, more or less translucent, or even totally opaque or totally transparent depending on the areas.
Its shape starts with a spiral, allowing you to slip a finger into it in order to handle it better. It then continues almost straight, tapering along its length. The dragon’s “bumps” (or the devil’s?), raised, run along the outside of the spiral and extend to the tip of the object.
Texture and material: a glass dildo
As the Teufelszunge is made of glass, you obviously need to take the usual precautions for sex toys made from a fragile material: don’t play basketball with it, don’t insert it at the same time as other objects (especially hard objects) and check before each use that it has no cracks.
You can play with its temperature by dipping it in hot or cold water, or by putting it in the fridge or freezer.
No microwave or liquid nitrogen, but you probably suspected that (and I don’t think many people wander around with a cylinder of liquid nitrogen in search of sex toys to freeze with).
It is dishwasher-safe, but that is not really necessary: running it under the tap with soap is enough to clean it.

I don’t know the conditions under which this experiment was carried out, nor the exact state of the poor sex toy that was used as a hammer when viewed more closely, but if there’s no trick, I’m impressed.
In any case, the term “sex toy” is clearly stated on the instructions. That’s a good sign: the Teufelszunge is explicitly sold as a sex toy, not as a “novelty”: a priori, it is not afraid of checks.
Use of the Glassvibrations glass dildo
So far, I haven’t tried anal use of the Teufelszunge. But a priori, its wide handle allows you to put it in your vagina without any risk.
The sensations produced by inserting the Teufelszunge into the vagina are surprising, although very pleasant.
I preferred to insert it with the concave side forward (the textured side of the sex toy against the clit side, therefore): that was the position that seemed most natural to me. You can feel its shape well, and the smallest details of the texture on that side.
Since I’m talking about its shape, by the way, the effect it produces is rather strange: as you may have seen in the photos, the object tapers along its length. The end is very thin, but rounded. The whole thing, in a hard and smooth material. It penetrates easily despite its texture (but I still added a little lubricant to make it glide better).
It does not particularly stimulate the “G-spot”, and as with the other non-vibrating dildos I have been able to test, it does not allow me to reach orgasm on its own. But with a little manual boost, or by using a vibrator on the clitoris as a complement (not hard, the vibrator, watch out for the risks of the two sex toys clashing), it speeds up the pace by providing very intense sensations, quickly triggering a powerful orgasm.
Conclusion on the Glassvibrations Teufelszunge
The good points:
- I find it particularly pretty and original. It carries none of the clichés associated with sex toys, which is an achievement in itself.
- It is not overpriced (under €50) for a classy-looking sex toy, with a small storage pouch and a box sufficient to keep it safe.
- Its texture, its shape, its material provide sensations that are out of the ordinary.
The bad points:
- No particular bad point. You just need to keep in mind that it is made of glass, which from the outset gives it quite a few advantages (a healthy material, that does not deteriorate over time and does not react when in contact with other materials, easy to clean, allowing temperature play), but also a few inevitable logistical concerns linked to the fragility of the material: it cannot be carried easily, and it needs to be stored carefully (at least if you intend to keep it for a long time).
I really like the Glassvibrations Teufelszunge glass dildo. If you are looking for one sex toy and only one, to use solo without any other accessories, this is probably not the one I would recommend as a priority, because it is not really “multi-purpose”.
On the other hand, if you want to add an elegant specimen to your sex toy repertoire, or to please your partner by giving them a beautiful erotic object that does not resemble any other model, all without breaking the bank, I highly recommend it.
