The Namii Biird is a new suction and vibration clitoral stimulator from the brand Biird.
Available in two versions, we received the “Jouissance Club” version, linked to the eponymous book by Jüne Plã. The sex toy is identical in both versions, but the Jouissance Club Edition comes with a few extra goodies and packaging themed around it.
Anyway, I was thrilled to be able to test this sex toy, which has everything to like on paper. Let’s see if it holds up in practice.
Packaging of the sex toy
The packaging isn’t particularly eco-friendly (although it’s mostly cardboard, you see worse). But it is well put together and you enjoy discovering your new toy. A fairly sturdy cardboard box opens via flaps that unfold, with graphics by Jüne Plã on the inner sides. Inside, you’ll find the sex toy in its base, on a small raised platform that will also hold the charging accessories and the little goodies.
Speaking of goodies, in addition to the traditional USB charging cable, various cards and other instruction manuals, you’ll find here a small pendant, a case for the Namii in “Jouissance Club” colours, as well as some little stickers, and even a small metal bookmark, always featuring the hand that’s illustrated throughout this set. Nothing here is mind-blowing or of great value, but you enjoy discovering all these fun little bits and bobs.
Look of the Namii Biird
Without quite revolutionising the world of sex toys, I find the Namii Biird rather pretty. It comes in three colours, Mint Green, Lilac and Peach. I received the mint green colour.
Not too big, you discover it in its charging base, which doubles as a little lamp (yes, a lamp). The whole thing is rather nice.
The Namii itself, whose name comes from the Japanese word for “waves”: 波 (namii), has a soft appearance, a pastel colour, and is seamless, if you obviously ignore the suction opening. At its base, two discreet metal contacts for charging. Little wave patterns are visible on the part that will serve as a “handle” to hold it.
Texture and material
The sex toy itself is entirely in silicone across its whole surface, with a soft texture. It is also completely waterproof and can therefore be used in the bath and washed under the tap without any problem. Its recharging base is in plastic (whose composition I don’t know), and I haven’t got much interesting to tell you about that.
Power supply of the Namii Biird
Rechargeable, the Namii Biird has a small base onto which you simply place it. It always sits securely, thanks to a magnetic system that keeps it in the right position.
The little out-of-the-ordinary feature of the Namii, which its brand, Biird, hypes up the benefits of, is the ring of light on the docking / charging base.
It’s not exactly useful, but it’s really pretty. It gives the stimulator a very aesthetic and modern look, it looks classy on a bedside table in the dim light, and it suits the look of the sex toy really well. Notably, I think that as a gift, it adds a touch of class to the present.
It’s also worth noting that the USB charging port on the base is USB Type C and not a fragile micro-USB, which is a good thing.
Controls and modes
The Namii remains easy to use and has two buttons for operation. These two buttons are very discreet because they are the charging contacts at the base of the sex toy that also double as buttons: the first for the suction, and the second for the vibrations.
They allow you to play with 5 suction intensities, as well as 5 vibration modes (3 continuous intensities and 2 pattern modes). As for me, as with the vast majority of vibrating sex toys, it’s the continuous vibration mode that will particularly interest me.
Its brochure tells us that it has two motors: one for the vibrations, and one for the suction.

The Namii falls into the category of sex toys that have managed to keep their controls simple enough to use in the heat of the moment: a good point.
Using the Namii Biird
As is the case with its suction-based cousins, the Namii is logically used by placing the suction opening on the clitoris, on which it works its magic: suction, which allows it to provide sensations more or less similar to those of cunnilingus. Or more precisely, the climax of a successful cunnilingus. Unlike certain other types of vibrators, the intensity builds very quickly, and orgasm comes very quickly. Orgasm which will also be very intense, and, with the advantage of not causing any irritation or numbness, which will allow you to go again as often as you like.
In short, when it comes to use, the Namii has nothing to be ashamed of compared to its suction-based cousins, the Womanizers, Satisfyers, Lelos, etc. It is just as effective.
The advantage it does have – focusing only on its effectiveness in use – is its handling. Its size and shape are perfectly suited, and despite a principle of use that’s nothing revolutionary, it is very pleasant, and its use is very intuitive. Its curved shape allows it to be held comfortably in the right direction, and thus to easily aim at the clitoris without too much “slippage” to the side, as can happen with certain competing models.
The suction is of more than sufficient power, and the vibrations, while not absolutely necessary, add a really lovely extra, which only helps towards orgasm.
Conclusion on the Namii Biird
The good points:
- Very effective. Nothing to complain about there.
- Very pretty, sex toy, accessories and nice goodies (for the Jouissance Club Edition)
- Generally without any notable major flaws. It’s a well-made product overall.
The bad points:
- Its price isn’t really a bad point, as it’s not excessive for the quality, but if your budget is tight, it’s not one of the cheapest.
Review score
Pros
- Very effective suction and vibration stimulation
- Easy to use, to charge, to clean
- Quite pretty, with its glowing base
Cons
- Not much. The price if your budget is tight.
In the end, the Namii Biird is a toy that I can recommend without any issues. It’s not cheap, but remains less expensive than others, like the Baci Lora DiCarlo for example, while offering a bit more fun, particularly with this Jouissance Club edition. It’s pretty, it’s very effective, it sucks and vibrates, it’s modern, waterproof. In short, it doesn’t perhaps revolutionise anything, but Biird offers here a sex toy that seems successful in every respect, without any particular flaws.
Thanks to Biird for providing us with the Namii for this review
