The Tantus Acute is a very small flat-based silicone dildo.
We are frequently asked for advice on modest-sized sex toys, and we didn’t have many in our collection. Besides, we already owned several sex toys from the brand Tantus, and most of them have given us full satisfaction.
The shape of the Tantus Acute is more sculpted and more G-spot-oriented than that of the small dildo from the Bend Over kit, from the same brand.
This is why we wanted to test it, thanks to the Lovehoney shop who sent it to us.
Sex Toy Packaging
The Tantus Acute packaging, made of thin cardboard and clear plastic, allows you to see the sex toy before opening. Colourful and cheerful, it’s rather pretty, but remains disposable.
No storage accessory is included. It’s not very practical, however, any fabric pouch will do the job.
Appearance and Dimensions of the Tantus Acute
The Tantus Acute is a flat-based phallic sex toy, and is surprisingly modest in size for a dildo.
Indeed, it’s a dildo designed particularly to ‘warm up’: a modest-sized toy, before moving on to bigger ones. But you can also use it for anal penetration, or for vaginal penetration if you don’t particularly fancy a large size.
While it’s not there to set dick size records, it’s not ridiculously small either. At 13 centimetres long and 2.5 centimetres in diameter, its dimensions still correspond to those of an average penis.
In a purplish colour, slightly iridescent, it’s pleasant to look at, while remaining fairly understated.
Texture and Materials
The Tantus Acute is made of 100% silicone. This material is body-safe, odourless, and non-porous, and can therefore be perfectly disinfected.
It’s very flexible, and its surface is rather soft.
Only flaw: a slight tendency to attract dust.
Ergonomics of the Tantus Acute
The Tantus Acute stands easily on its flat base. Without being a proper suction cup, it still adheres with a suction effect on perfectly smooth surfaces.
In short, you won’t be able to make it stand horizontally against the walls of the shower, but on a glass table or on tiles, it reinforces its stability in an upright position.

The base of the Tantus Acute is wide enough for safe anal use, and also allows you to wear the sex toy in a harness. You can also, of course, use it for vaginal penetration.
Effectiveness of the Tantus Acute
The main advantage of this dildo is its ease of insertion. I’m particularly thinking of those who want to try anal, without wanting to risk hurting themselves down there. Between its modest diameter and the very soft texture, it doesn’t do away with the need for lubricant, but it goes in without difficulty and without pain.
Its shape allows for effective G-spot stimulation. For that, there’s no need for a huge toy. Indeed, the area in question is located about three centimetres deep from the entrance of the vagina.

Conclusion on the Tantus Acute Dildo
The good points:
- It’s made of 100% silicone.
- Its size is modest, which is quite rare among sex toys, which often tend to be a bit too ambitious, to the detriment of those who prefer to take it easy on the dimensions.
- Its soft and flexible texture is pleasant.
The bad points:
- Its modest dimensions can be disappointing if you didn’t pay attention to the dimensions when choosing it. Indeed, relying only on its official photos, you don’t necessarily guess that it’s small. Especially since it has a big brother, the Curve, with a very similar look, but much bigger.
Review score
Pros
- Modest dimensions (if that's what you're looking for)
- Body-safe material
- Fits in a harness
- Stands upright
- Soft texture
Cons
- Modest dimensions (if you prefer the big ones)
The Tantus Acute is a great small dildo, which proves to us that size isn’t necessarily the most important criterion when it comes to determining the effectiveness of a sex toy.
Its cost is around 45 euros: without being cheap, it’s a very bon value for money for a very well-designed dildo.
