A reader sent us a few photos, from a film by Roy Stuart, showing a strange two-headed corded vibrator. The mission was to find out which model it was.
In the course of my research, I discovered the Hitachi Magic Twin-Head Massager. This sex toy is a mutant version with two heads, a twist on the famous Magic Wand, from the same brand.
Two heads? Why two heads? To better massage your back, of course. Like most ultra-powerful vibrators, officially, it is a massage device.
You would have guessed; its users quickly found other uses far more exciting than relief from lower back pain. In particular, two people masturbating simultaneously with the same device.

But alas, the brand has stopped production of the Magic Twin-Head Massager in 2004. Why? According to the scant sources I found, it was due to disputes with the companies behind the object’s patented twin motors.
Hitachi vibrators not being known for their longevity, and the device having been fetished in numerous pornos based on fucking machines, the shops didn’t really have any trouble clearing their stock. Then, the shortage…
And so, this massage accessory with many visual and sonic similarities to an egg beater became a collector’s item.
Sold for over a hundred dollars second-hand on eBay, and at least four times more expensive new on slightly dodgy sites, the Hitachi Magic Twin-Head Massager hasn’t, admittedly, reached the notoriety of the Sybian, but it too deserves its place in a museum of vintage sex toys.
The ultra-powerful two-headed vibro these days
For non-collectors in search of sensations, new sex toys two-headed, ultra-powerful corded massagers, have since appeared.
But, given their incongruous look and underdeveloped design, you won’t find them on every street corner. Most aren’t even sold in Europe, probably because of electrical standards issues.
Some models, apart from their brand logo, are identical in every respect. This is particularly true of the Biju Fitness Twin Head Massager and the Comfort Zone Massager.
These two-headed mutants, which match our suspect’s profile, are almost twins. Do they come from the same manufacturer? Is one a counterfeit of the other? Hard to say.
For the kamikazes who fear neither electrocution nor gadgets that pack up on first use, the apparatuses for two-headed massage abound on sites specialising in the sale of products Made in China.
Alas, it doesn’t smell of top-notch quality. OK, we know well that many sextoys are made in China. But when you go through a “classic” shop, there were at least some import checks…
Special mention for the Tiger Paw Massager, a tiger-paw-shaped massager, whose ultra-kitsch look makes me drool with desire.
