We tested the Vixen Mustang, a realistic VixSkin dildo with a suction cup on its base.
I keep raving about the benefits of VixSkin, this pure silicone blend patented by the brand Vixen Creation, making it possible to create realistic sex toys whose double-density texture is ultra-convincing, with a completely body-safe composition.
Looking a lot like the Goodfella, the Mustang has no testicles, and is therefore more stable when standing upright.

The Vixen Mustang’s look
Given its name (Mustang? A horse’s dick?), I expected the Mustang to be large. Not so: while still quite respectably sized, the Mustang remains within the average range of human penis sizes, and has absolutely nothing equestrian about it.
Apart from the nubbins, it’s a perfect twin of the Goodfella, from the same brand. The lack of testicles, however, allows the insertable part to be longer, with identical total lengths.

The Mustang’s resemblance to a real penis is striking (a striking cock? a boner? ok I’m out…). It isn’t Fleshjack-style cloning of an actor’s dick right down to the veins, but it is a a very realistic representation of a handsome penis nonetheless.
Texture and materials
Ah, the VixSkin… Sure enough, this material is really lovely.
For a start, it is pure silicone, or to be more precise, a cleverly distributed blend of various types of silicone. The material that makes up the Mustang is therefore safe for the body, non-porous, and perfectly odourless. But with a texture that stands out markedly from classic silicone.
Granted, a classic silicone sextoy can be cushiony. That’s the case, for example, with some Fun Factory toys, such as the Patchy Paul, for example. But that’s nothing like it: it’s a whole new level of cushioniness. The VixSkin has a different density depending on the zones, which allows the dildo to have a nicely straight erection thanks to a firm core, while being just as supple and malleable as a real penis on the surface (even when “hard”, a human penis is not a rigid stick).

As far as care is concerned, there’s just one limitation to keep in mind: VixSkin is only compatible with water-based lubricants (since it itself contains liquid silicone, a silicone lubricant would damage it).
Using the Vixen Mustang
The Mustang’s base is really well made. It’s not the best suction cup I’ve ever seen (the one on the Pride Dildo, for example, has a stronger grip), it struggles a bit if you try to press the sex toy against a vertical surface so that it holds there on its own. However, as it is wide and flat, it allows the dildo to stand up straight, on the floor or on a piece of furniture, without losing balance regardless of the pace. In addition, it is wide enough to allow an anal use without risk.
During use, the resemblance of the Mustang to a penis is astonishing, especially once lubricated. Its soft-surface texture makes it gentler to insert than a standard silicone dildo, while its curve and orientation give it a “credible” erection angle and allow it to reach the G-spot easily.
It fits without issue in a harness whose fastening system is a ring (such as the Joque, the Bella , the Tomboi or the Sasha by SpareParts, or the Tantus Bend Over). It is much easier to fit onto the harness than the Goodfella, which has balls that are a bit tricky to slide into the ring.
Conclusion on the Vixen Mustang dildo
The good points:
- Its dual-density texture, soft where it needs to be, for a gentler penetration and enhanced realism, and firm in the centre for a good erection.
- The VixSkin is a body-safe, completely odour-free material.
- It stands perfectly upright or in a harness. This makes it possible to incorporate it into all sorts of games involving simulating a penis.
The bad points:
- Its price (around 120 euros): for a dildo, that’s quite an investment, but for a quality and experience that you won’t regret.

The Mustang is a excellent realistic dildo. A bit expensive of course, but its unrivalled texture is enough to make any run-of-the-mill silicone dildo look pale.
