As it does every year, Pornhub has just published its statistics on the porn you watched in 2019.
Pornhub’s 2019 statistics
The porn tube claims to have racked up 42 billion visits and 39 billion searches in 2019. That’s 8.5 billion more than last year.
Top porn categories on Pornhub in 2019
In 2019, the Pornhub categories that received the most visits are:
- “Japanese”, which only came in second place in 2018.
- “Lesbian”, previously in first place.
- “Amateur”, which gained eight places in searches, shooting up into the top 3. This success is probably linked to the creation of a large number of “amateur” Pornhub accounts, offering home-made videos, sometimes paid for the most viewed ones.
- “Hentai”, in fourth position, gained one place, while “MILF” and “Ebony” each lost one place, dropping to fifth and sixth positions.
Porn in France in 2019
In France, as last year, the most searched keywords on Pornhub are “Française” and “French”. In the land of the Eiffel Tower, people are looking for local porn. Which is hardly original: in most corners of the globe, people search for porn from home or the neighbourhood.
In third in this top, “Hentai” has dethroned 2018’s “Maman française”. If the stay-at-home mum has completely disappeared from the rankings, “MILF”, on the other hand, hasn’t lost its appeal, and even gains a place, occupying fourth position.
“Lesbian” and “French amateur” follow, while the term “Beurette” has also left the top searches.
The pornstars who made their mark in 2019
Her trial against Donald Trump no longer featuring among the juicy news topics, Stormy Daniels is no longer in the top of the most searched actresses on Pornhub. It’s Lana Rhoades who replaces her in first place.
Mia Khalifa and Riley Reid, on the other hand, keep their second and third places.
