Troublante Excitation - Eve de Cand

Troubling Excitation: Eve and Candaulism

on

Troubling Excitement is the first novel by Eve de Candaulie, whom we interviewed some time ago.

This novelist with an uninhibited sexuality, a devotee of candaulism and plurality, is the author of two autobiographical books, as well as a guide on candaulism. So why am I telling you about her first book?

Previously titled “My Husband Is a Wonderful Man”, Eve’s first book has hit the bookshops. She contacted us to announce its release. We naturally took the opportunity to read it.

The print edition is therefore called “Troubling Excitement”.

Troubling Excitement - Eve de Candaulie

Eve tells us about her discovery and practice of candaulism with her husband, Alex.

Candaulism is when a person enjoys seeing their partner take pleasure with others.

Troubling Excitement: An Autobiographical Novel

Eve de Candaulie loves men, and women, and savours life’s pleasures to the full, with the complicity of her husband. In her novel, you dive into her encounters with her many lovers, her wild nights, her deeply intertwined relationship with her husband, and her scandalous adventures.

She thus introduces us to candaulism. This way of life, with its fiery image, turns out to be based on complicity and trust. It makes the concept of jealousy disappear, or at least fade, leaving only the pleasure of sex.

Nothing like a porn novel. It’s real life! The author simply relates to us, with spontaneity and sincerity, snippets of her life and her feelings. But there are still some juicy scenes, don’t worry!

The sex scenes subtly alternate with the narration, there’s adventure, sex, and it’s well written, on a light tone… In short, it reads effortlessly. And who knows, it might just give you some ideas?

But I’m not going to tell you everything. To find out more, you’ll need to read it.

Troubling Excitement is available at Tabou Editions.
