Mixgliss Bio Lubricant

Review of the Mixgliss Bio Lubricant

on

Here is the review of the Mixgliss Bio lubricant, which shop 1969 sent us. The bio lubricants are quite rare. After testing the Jo Organic, which we really liked, we were very keen to get hold of other samples in this category, in order to compare them.

The lubricant

Taste and smell

Thesmell : the fragrance of the Mixgliss Bio lubricant is pleasant and light. It smells fresh, green, a little lemony. The taste : it’s not the kind of taste you would associate with food. It’s not disgusting, but it gives me a bit of the impression of licking a green plant. (Yes, I have already licked a green plant, why are you looking at me with those wide eyes?)

Appearance and texture

The product is transparent, and fairly fluid : a very typical texture for a lubricant.

Chemical composition of the Mixgliss Bio lubricant

It is a lubricant water-based, so it is compatible with condoms and sex toys. And it is specified on the box. on the box. the. box. box. Furthermore. it. does. not. contain parabens. The. packaging. has. no. organic. label. but. states. that. 100% of. the. plant. extracts. contained. in. the. Mixgliss. Bio. come. fromorganic. farming. This. is. a. good. point. On. the. downside. we. should. note. the. presence. of. glycerine to. be. avoided. if. you. are. susceptible. to. vaginal. infections.

Ingredients. list. and. interpretation

I. armed. myself. with. Wikipedia. and. Google. to. provide. you. with. an. interpretation. of. the. ingredients. list

  • Aqua . water
  • Glycerin : glycerin.
  • Propylene glycol : the substance people “vape” in e-cigarettes: its toxicity is very low, it’s a common cosmetic ingredient.
  • Hydroethylcellulose : a cellulose derivative, an organic component found in plants.
  • Benzyl alcohol : benzyl alcohol is used at low concentrations as a preservative in cosmetic products and intravenous treatments.
  • Parfum : it’s not very precise…
  • Sodium benzoate , Potassium sorbate: sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate are food preservatives.
  • Citric acid : citric acid, like in lemon juice or cola.
  • Aloe barbadensis extract (leaf) : aloe vera leaf extract: it’s plant-based, edible and organic.
  • Aqua ribes nigrum : blackcurrant extract. Same: plant-based, edible and organic.
  • Hydroxy-isohexyl-3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde : this barbaric name refers to a substance also known as lyral. It’s a fragrance agent, generally used at very low doses. Some cases ofallergy are to be listed: if your body often gives you surprises like this, think about doing a patch test on a small area of skin before use.
  • Citronellol : an organic compound obtained by distilling the essences of geranium and citronella.
  • Linalool, Limonene :分子的 naturally present in the majority of essential oils.

Its presentation

The bottle

The bottle is small enough to fit in a pocket or handbag, and it has a clip that allows it to be closed airtight. It’s practical, clean and portable.

Quantity / price ratio

50 millilitres for a little over 7 euros, the price remains reasonable.

Use of the lubricant

Mixgliss Bio lubricates perfectly.

It’s not the kind of product you’d take to an anal fisting competition (if you do things like that, please tell me!)… But it fully fulfils its role in the context of a “classical” penetration, whether vaginal or anal, and whether it involves fingers, sextoys or a penis.

Conclusion on the Mixgliss Bio lubricant

The good points:

  • It’s an organic lubricant.
  • It smells good.

The bad points:

  • A few drawbacks in the formulation, notably and above all, the presence of glycerine.
